How to Look, Feel, and Be Healthier

With the first day of school approaching, you might be wanting to shape up your health and beauty in time for school. Here are some easy, cheap tips to help you out.

1. Take a shower. Make sure you properly shampoo and condition your hair, and rinse thoroughly. If you have callused feet from walking on the hot sidewalks, you can scrub those away with a foot scrubber. If you want to shave your legs, go ahead and do so, but make sure to use a nice scented lotion afterwards. This will help make your legs shiny and smooth.
2. Dry you hair until it is damp. If you want to blow-dry it, make sure to use a low setting. Comb your hair with a widetooth comb, starting with the ends. Then use a headband to push your hair out of your face.
3. Use a clay face mask. You can put it all over your face, but I suggest just putting it on your nose, upper chin, and in between your eyebrows. This mask will help clean you pores and prevent pimples.
4. While your face mask is drying, you can paint you nails and/or toenails. This is completely up to you. If you do, choose a soft pink for you nails, and a light blue or green for your toenails. You don't want to get in trouble for something stupid like nail polish, especially if you're going to a new school.
5. Next, you should round your nails. If they are long, trim them first, and then start rounding. If you have the 4 step type, follow the steps and use your board at an angle. If you have a normal emery board, do your best and use it at an angle as well.
6. Your face mask should be dry by now. Check it carefully with you fingers, and then take it off with water. Make sure you keep your mouth shut during this process.
7. Next, brush your teeth and do your normal nightly routine. Make sure you floss.
8. Go to sleep relaxed and at a good time. I suggest around 9:00 to 9:30. If that is early for you, try it anyway. It might help keep you awake and attentive for the first day.
9. When you wake up, put on your make-up (if wanted) and do your morning routine. Make sure to eat a healthy breakfast, and wash your face. Do your hair whatever way you want, but it would be better if it wasn't in your face. Then you can concentrate better without having to brush your bangs away every 5 seconds.
10. If you can't go to sleep and wake up with big black circles under your eyes, try this trick. Go to youtube.com, and look up AllThatGlitters21. You should be able to find a tutorial for looking wide awake, even when you're practically drooling on your desk. Try to tone it down a bit though, because there's a lot of make-up for this tutorial.
11. Don't forget to treat yourself some more with some of your favorite candy! If you have braces, you can buy sugarless gum, because the sugar is what sticks to your braces.

Tips

* To help you relax, light some scented candles (ask first) and put on some relaxing music.
* Make sure to pick a nice outfit that is comfortable, yet pretty. Put on sensible shoes that you can walk around in, especially if you are starting middle or high school.
* Keep one or two of your candies in your bag/backpack for times when you're feeling really low. They will boost your confidence and make you feel so much better. Just remember to save them for when you really need them.

Warnings

* If you choose to light candles, make sure you talk to an adult about where to put them so that the risk of something catching fire is low. Ask an adult to light the candles, or light them yourself while they are there to help guide you.

ME!

Hey guys! Do you like my set from Polyvore? I am pretty content with life, but here are a couple of items that are deeply wanted by yours truly. :)

Monday

Polyvore

Hey guys! Check this out! There's this website called polyvore, and it's a really cool place where you can make outfits and stuff with real clothes and accessories and stuff.

Saturday

My Birthday!

Today I am twelve! Yipee! It is also the 4thof July, so I am going to Ramsey Park (the park of stuff and all things good) to celebrate, and then to the mall to get my ears pierced and watch a movie (The Proposal) and then going to Old Navy for a short while. EEEEEK about the ears being pierced. I'm sooo nervous..... I wonder if it hurts alot. Hopefully not cuz I am scared of pulling off a band-aid. I think I will get little flowers like in Twelve, the book. (read it!) And then I am having a birthday dinner with my family and my BFF and her family at Suzi's, a Chinese restuarant of yumminess. And then (maybe) we will go stand on this bridge (don't ask) and then look at the fireworks cuz the park where they do them is too crowded. :) Luv you guys!
-Lula, age twelve.... :)

Sad

It is very sad. I can't seem to get any followers of my blog. Besides my sister. Hmmmm....I think I will go out in the world and search random things and find some blogs. If anyone is looking at this (besides Malena) and is around 12 or something and has a blog, TELL ME!!! (big words are good good) Oh yeah, I need to tell you guys, I slightly repeat words. For example, this was a conversation (I think) with my sis yesterday...
ME: that shirt looks good good on you!
HER: you think think?
ME: i know know
HER: really?
ME: oh yes yes
HER: all right right!
ps: she picked up the two words thing from me :)
I think I might need a counselor. A counselor that can help me find people's blogs and to get people to come to mine. PLEASE??? please could people come to mine? I feel really dumb just talking to myself. And my sis.

Friday

Necks

My neck has taken on a life of it's own. It is now it's own person. It shows itself when I want to be myself - a neck person clinging to my chin (which is always) and then it either looks really fat or looks really fat in a different way. (both horribly disgusting) I am now throughly grossed out and I will leave you people with your thoughts of horrible neck people clinging to your chin, like mine did to me. Sigh. It will go away soon, I hope. But if not, I will have it surgically removed. No just kidding. Needles scare me.

MURCK

I just wanted to warn you guys that I might be saying MURCK on several occasions (ie: everytime i open my mouth). MURCK (yes it must be big) means.....hehe or teehee or MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!Your pick.

The Grateful Dead

My blog name is Sunshine Daydream because of THE GRATEFUL DEAD's song Sugar Magnolia, where at the end it looks (or sounds..whatever) like the song is over but then the sunshine daydream part kicks in. And then this is my fave part...
"SWEET BLOSSOM DAYDREE-EEEEEEEE-EEEE--EEE-EEEEEE-EAM"
Good luck with swimming in that pond.
God I spelled friendship wrong. And it is big and capitalized for all the world to see. And I do not quite know how to edit my posts. *hides head in hands in shame and pretends to disappear*

Blah Blah Blah

So I know I already posted a post (hehe) today, but I need to vent my happiness to the world, or basically just my big sister cuz no one has identified my blog as something that needs to be read IMMEDIETLEY, or ever. GLURCK!!I will never figure out how to spell immedietley! Oh, wait, I just did. oopsies! Well, now you know that when I am frustrated, I say glurck really loud and bang my head on things (not really but I would if I wasn't at the computer, where our little table supporty thing is not good for supporting things, such as heads.) I am very proud of my decorative skills that I have put to use on this blog. Now I am going to go look up my friend Hadley's blog. Actually I just know her from Yaho! Connections, where I know my former student buddy (ie: person who goes to my school) and Hadley is her cousin who is a year younger but age does not matter in the world of FRIEDNSHIP!!!!! In this world you can be eat whatever you want, even Mustard flavored ketchup, if that is what you desire (and Mustard must always be capitalized because it is so vital to the world. Just kidding Mustard sucks. yuck. But I'm not kidding about the capitalazition thing. That is very important to my soul. And ear drums. Although they can not hear the capitalazition of Mustard. So I will stop talking now.) Anyway, I think that parenthes are very important. Let's capitalize them too. (Parenthes) Take note that this post will be in light blue. Light blue is the most beautiful color in the world besides rainbow color or Purple Magic Mountain Swirls, which should totally be a CrayLula color. CrayLula is my own (imaginary) line of crayons, with awesome colors, like PMMS (hemhem, see above) and Rainbow On A Stick (I think you can imagine that one) And it's called CrayLula cuz of Crayola and my name (Lula, in all it's awesome nicknameness). I will be going now because I am going to Vulcan Video (the video store. No duh!) and renting some movies. Here are my top choices:
1. The Road To El Dorado
2. Castle In The Sky
3. My Big Fat Greek Wedding
4. Zoolander
5. uhhh....none!
Soooo....love you guys! (if there is anyone out there) :)

SUMMER!!!

Hey! It's SUMMER!!! so I'm super excited!!! And we finally got someone who might rent our house when we're in England (btw, we [me and my family] are moving to England for my 7th grade experience.), but the bad news about that is that they want to use their own furniture. So we have to lug all of our stuff into one of those little Pod things, and then it'll be shipped off to Wheretheheckistan (kudos to Jim Benton), and then we'll get it back next July, when we come back. And I'll also be thirteen! This big TEENAGE MOMENT!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!!!! I am sooo excited! (the sooo needed to be extra big to contain the yahooyness of my excitement). My sister just called me a "little slice of butt." She is very creative with her insults. Go check out her blog! It's called Crowded Fire. (and no, she didn't tell me to write this. I just am a good little sis [I hope that doesn't sound conceited or anything. Cuz I'm not] ). So anyway that is my first post! Enjoy! Oh and my about me is kinda like another mini first post, so go check that out too.
